16. Deflect aileron upwards and repeat
application for bottom of wing. Note very
small gap between aileron and wing.
17. From the top of the wing install the aileron
control horn with its washer. DO NOT
tighten yet. Relieve the areas where the
washer touches the corrugations. This is
most easily accomplished with a Dremel.
18. After marking the location of the washer
use a Dremel to trim the corrugations.
19. Work carefully to maintain a close fit to the
washer. (See Photo)
20. Repeat the process for the underside of
the aileron.
21. Assemble the aileron control horn and use
a drop of thread locker to avoid the unit
loosening due to vibration. Snug the nut
tight but do not overtighten.
