5.5 - OPTIONAL SHUT-OFF VALVE OPENING
the previously closed shut-off valve must always go from the physical "

" state to the logical "
Re-enabled on
opening
" state; this step takes place by sending the remote command for rehabilitation upon opening the management
centre – caS.
Proceed as described in tab.5.36. to open the shut-off valve from the user interface:

Verify that you have obtained authorisation from the remote management centre caS (or from the central
acquisition System).
NOTICE!
The authorisation is bound to a time limit within which the operation must be performed and to a
maximum of available attempts.

NOTICE!
According to the relative configuration, the opening of the valve may be subject to a password
being entered.

After reopening of the valve, the device checks the flow to determine the presence of any leaks, only if programmed to do
so, by measuring the volume gone through in the 360 seconds following re-opening.

NOTICE!
If the set leakage threshold is exceeded, the valve is returned to:
• "Closed" physical state;
• logical "Re-enabled on opening";
spontaneously to allow the verification and resolution of leaks and then proceed with a new attempt to
reopen.
