7.9 Commissioning the lifting column
Only authorised personnel may commission a lifting column. The safety regulations and instruc-
tions in this installation manual must be read and obeyed.
Before commissioning, you must check the lifting column for damage and note the instructions
for operating same (see section 7.3). If no damage can be detected, then the lifting column can
be used.
The lifting column in the Memory synchro version can be
used both on its own and in conjunction with a number of
lifting columns of the same design.
7.9.1 Commissioning a single lifting column

Test the safe state of lifting column

Plug the mains lead into mains connection

Plug the hand switch into connection

•
Plug the plug on the end of the mains lead into a
mains socket.
•
Test the function for moving the lifting column up
and down by carefully pressing the relevant key on
the hand switch.
•
Note when raising and lowering the lifting column
that this operates the limit switch and at the same
time switches the lifting movement off in the top and
bottom end positions.
