TV format
This is the type of TV you have connected to your set-top box,
and how wide screen broadcast programmes display. Make your
choice according to the following table:
TV output signal
This is the type of signal which is most compatible with your TV.
Choose RGB for a better quality picture.
Using the Signal Settings menu
Signal Settings menus are used to:
- check the strength and quality of the signal;
- carry out an automatic search for channels;
- change transponder settings and start manual search.
To display the Signal Settings menu:
1. On the Setup menu, highlight ‘Signal Settings’, and then press OK .
2. When you have finished using the Signal Settings menu, press
BACK to redisplay the Setup menu.

wide-screen transmission will display.
Letterbox Standard (4/3) The whole of any wide-screen
transmission will display, but the
picture does not fill the screen.
