Day-to-day operation
This section describes daily operations, including how to:
- change channel;
- find out what is showing on other channels, both now and later on;
- find out more about a programme you are interested in;
- change the audio or subtitle language;
- use interactive features.
Switching on and off
Whenever you are not using your set-top box you should put it
into standby.
- To put your set-top box into standby, press .
- To take your set-top box out of standby, press .
Your receiver, as any electronic equipment, is power consuming.
In order to reduce power consumption, please switch your
receiver to standby whenever you are not using it.
For saving energy compared to the standby mode, if you are not
using your receiver for a longer period of time, we recommend to
switch off the receiver by unpluging it “from the mains product
socket”.
Note: The front panel Standby button can also be used to reset your receiver if
need be. To perform a reset, press this button for 5 seconds.
Changing channel
You can change channel by using:
- the number buttons;
- the
CH + and CH - buttons.
