Recommendation
• To save electricity and water, remove large scraps from the dishes before placing them inside the
dishwasher. Start the dishwasher only when it is fully loaded.
•
Use the pre-wash function only when necessary.
•
Always place dishes such as bowls, glasses and pots, etc. into the dishwasher upside down.
•
Do not place dishes into the dishwasher that are atypical or not suitable for washing in a dishwasher.
Dishes inappropriate for washing:
•
Ashtrays, candle holders, polishing agents, paintings, chemical substances, products from iron alloys;
•
Forks, spoons and knives with wooden or bone handles, handles from ivory or mother-of-pearl; dishes
glued with adhesive, dishes soiled with abrasive, acidic or alkaline substances.
•
Plastic dishes that are not heat resistant, and copper or pewter tableware.
•
Aluminium or silver items (may become discoloured to a matte fi nish).
•
Certain thin glass, porcelain with ornaments may be lost during the fi rst wash, certain crystal tableware
may lose its translucence, non-heat resistant cutlery, lead glass, boards, items made from synthetic fi bres;
•
Absorptive items such as sponges or kitchen wiping cloths are not suitable for washing in a dishwasher.
