PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Fitting a wheel

Position the wheel using the cen-
tralising tool

to assist you.

Tighten the bolts by hand and re-
move the centralising tool

Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace

Fold the jack

and
remove it.
F
Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace

F
Replace the wheel trim, starting
by placing the wheel trim notch
opposite the valve, and press it on
using the palm of the hand.
F
Put the corresponding tools in the
holder and secure its cover.
F
Place the holder on the ground
and align the spare wheel on it.
F
Pass the notched hook into the
holder cover.
F
Reit the wheel under the vehicle
tightening the winch control nut
using the wheelbrace

Fully tighten and
check that
the wheel is horizontally lush
against the rear loor
.
F
Close the lap using the lug to lock
the winch.
F
Store the rest of the tools in the
right-hand trim of the boot.
For your safety, always
change the wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery
ground,
- with the handbrake on and the
ignition switched off,
- with irst or reverse gear en-
gaged (position
P
for the auto-
matic gearbox),
- with the vehicle chocked.
Never go underneath a vehicle
that is supported only by a jack
(use a ramp).
Never reit the holder under
the vehicle without the spare
wheel.
Do not use a screwdriver in
place of the wheelbrace to un-
wind or wind the winch.
After changing the wheel:
- have the correct positioning of
the punctured wheel, the tighten-
ing of the bolts and the tyre pres-
sure checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer as soon as possible.
- have the punctured tyre repaired
and reit it to the vehicle as soon
as possible.
- have the correct positioning of
the spare wheel checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
