PRACTICAL INFORMATION
F
Detach the wheel/holder assem-
bly from the rear of the vehicle.
F
Take out the notched hook to re-
lease the wheel, as shown in the
illustration.
Removing the wheel

Slide the holder cover to gain ac-
cess to the tools.
F
Place the chock

under the wheel
diagonally opposite to the one to
be changed.
F
Remove the trim, using the wheel-
brace
1,
pulling at the valve pas-
sage hole (for vehicles itted with
steel wheels).
F
Loosen the wheel bolts (see §
"Special features of alloy wheels"
for vehicles itted with alloy
wheels).
Note:
you can use the other end
of the tool

to unscrew the wheel
bolts.

Place the jack

in contact with
one of the four locating points

on the sub-frame, the one which
is closest to the wheel to be
changed.
F
Extend the jack

until its base is
in contact with the ground. Ensure
that the centre line of the base of
the jack is straight above the lo-
cating point
A
used.
F
Raise the vehicle.
F
Remove one bolt and install the
centralising tool

in its place.
F
Unscrew the other bolts and re-
move the wheel.
