5. Use
•
Pull the cable until the desired length is reached and hold. Slightly pull the cable until you hear a clicking sound.
The locking mechanism will now lock the cable.

If you need more cable length, simply pull the cable to the desired length; hold the cable and pull slightly to lock.
•
To rewind the cable, pull the cable for about 40cm until the clicking sounds disappear. Slightly release the cable
so the auto-rewind mechanism pulls the cable.
•
Do not force the device when rewinding the cable. Make sure the cable is neatly rewound onto the reel to avoid
damage or malfunction.
REMARKS:
Do not let go of the cable when rewinding but feed it through your hand until the cable has been
retracted entirely. If not, the speed of the auto rewind function may cause the cable to flop around and
cause bodily injuries and/or damage to surrounding objects.
This cable reel is thermally fused: the power supplied to the appliance in use is cut down when the
temperature of the wound cable exceeds 56°C. Reset by pushing the red button at the side of the
housing.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing)
should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth and some diluted detergent. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
7. Store or mount the device in a dry and sheltered location, away from water and humidity.
