In virtual COM mode, the handheld reader operates like an RS-232 series device.
Disabling Virtual COM Mode and Switching to USB Keyboard Mode

Scan the following control code "USB Keyboard" to enter Keyboard mode.

Scan the following control code "M20325_01" to deactivate the text commands.

If you have activated the text command via a monitor program, you can deactivate it using the
command
++++FWCMSOR0<CR>
.
Example
Sending Text Commands
The Hercules program from HW group is one example of a monitor program
that can be used. In virtual COM mode, you can send the commands for beep
and trigger to the handheld reader, for example.
