Advanced Diagnostic Module (ADM) Engineering
The advanced diagnostic module (ADM) can be engineered both in the offline and the online
dialog. After engineering is complete, ensure to load the data from the device or to the device,
in order to avoid data loss.
In order to integrate a HD2-DM-A ADM via PROFIBUS PA, proceed as follows:
1. In the Device catalog, open
FUCHS GmbH > Device > HD2-DM-A
.
2. Drag and drop
HD2-DM-A
into the HD2-GTR-4PA node of the the project window.
Note: The ADM address is being detected automatically and is displayed symbolically by
"999". There is no need to assign an address.
Your project tree now looks like this:
3. In order to assign a tag to the ADM, open the offline dialog of HD2-GTR-4PA.
4. Enter a device description in the ADM tag field and confirm with
Enter
