Symptom Corrective Action
Pad Mode
writing is not
accurate and/or consistent
1. Ensure that you are writing on the latest version of the penveu® Pad paper .
(Check www.penveu.com/resources for the latest version of the penveu® Pad
paper ).
2. Ensure that the penveu® Pad paper is printed in landscape orientation, and in
its actual size with no scaling or resizing.
3. Ensure that the penveu® Pad paper is placed or held in a relatively horizontal
orientation (45 degrees or less from the horizontal) such as a table or podium.
6. Rotate the penveu® Pad paper so that the “TOP” arrows on the paper are at
the top of the paper.
4. Rotate the penveu® Pad paper to make the vertical lines on the paper parallel
to the pen.
5. Do not sharply tilt the pen to its side relative to the penveu® Pad paper .

for detailed information).
5.7 Hardware Reset
Should you experience difficulty with the
penveu system
as described in the Troubleshooting
section, follow these steps to reset your
penveu system
.
1. Disconnect all cables (including the power cable) from the
veu
.
2. Reconnect all the cables removed in Step 1 to the
veu
.
3. Use a small tool to press the RESET button* on the
pen .
4. Place
pen
in
veu
.
5. Verify normal operation is restored.
6. If
penveu
does not function normally after completing the above steps, refer to Return
Merchandise Authorization .
*The Hardware RESET button is between charging contacts on the
pen
5.8 Return Merchandise Authorization
Return Merchandise Authorization must be approved prior to returning the
penveu system
.
Follow this process before you return the
penveu system
for repair or replacement.
Refer to
www.penveu.com and click on Support at the top of the page. Select Warranty & Repair
and follow the online process to obtain RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and
instructions.
