The steamer basket is based on the principle of cooking with steam and has been designed
for fast, healthy cooking in your Pelgrim microwave .
This accessory is ideal for preparing rice, pasta, vegetables, etc . in record time, while
preserving their nutritional values .
The steamer basket has three components:

Use

Do not use:
To prepare dishes with a high sugar or fat content .
On a grill setting or on a hob .

Before first use, wash the basket thoroughly in soapy water .

Consult the steaming table for preparation times .
Maintenance

The steamer basket can be cleaned in a dishwasher .

When washing by hand, use warm water with detergent . Do not use abrasives .

Some dishes (such as dishes with tomato) can discolour the plastic .
Defrosting
•
Put frozen dishes in the steamer basket without using the lid . The moisture remains at the
bottom of the bowl and does not affect the dish .
