The following list shows the different heating possibilities and oven settings which
are available. Use the preparation guidelines on the following pages to determine the
correct mode and setting for your recipes.
MICROWAVE MODE
Microwaves are used for preparing and defrosting dishes . Dishes are
prepared quickly and efficiently without the colour or form of the dish
being affected . You set the power and preparation time manually for the
different dishes .
OVEN FUNCTIONS
Hot air setting
The fan distributes the heat from the top and bottom heating elements
through the oven . The heat is distributed evenly in the oven . This
setting is suitable for traditional baking and roasting . Recommended
temperature: 180 °C
Grill setting
The grill element heats the dish . The grill setting is particularly suitable
for grilling smaller quantities, such as baguette, fish fillets or for giving
an oven dish a gratin finish . Put the dish in the middle of the grill rack +
ceramic baking, because the element is in the middle of the oven .
Recommended temperature: 180 °C
Large grill setting
The grill element and the top element heat the dish . The large grill
setting is suitable for grilling steak, sausages and toasted sandwiches .
Recommended temperature: 220 °C
Grill + fan setting
The fan distributes the heat from the grill and the top heating element .
You can use this setting for grilling meat and fish . Recommended
temperature: 220 °C
AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS
Defrost setting
Select from 5 preset defrost settings . The fan is switched on with a low
temperature during defrosting . Turn the food over during defrosting .
You
only have to choose the programme and the weight to start defrosting.
Aqua clean
The hot steam makes the interior of the oven wet, so you can clean the
oven easily . The Aqua Clean programme takes 15 minutes .
