D.  Changing the IP Address of the Gateway  (Refer to section 1.10.3) 

 

1.10.2  STARTING CON_UI 

 

NOTE:  

This manual will use Drive A as the Floppy drive, the user’s computer Floppy Drive may 

differ. 

 

From the Start button, choose Programs, then MS-DOS™ Prompt.  An MS-DOS™ window will 
open on the screen.  Insert the 3.5" Diskette, supplied by the Factory, into Floppy Drive A.  
Change the current directory to Drive 

“A:”

  The MS-DOS™ prompt will now be 

“A:\>”

  

 
At the MS-DOS™ prompt type 

“Con_ui 10.1.4.50 (10.0.0.1)"

.  If prompted for a password; type 

“macs”

.  When the password is accepted, a session is started by showing the standard logon and 

Header information. 
Please Note: Con_ui keywords or commands will appear underlined in the following text.  Text 
which shows interaction between Con_ui and the User will appear as follows: Text or Prompts 
from Con_ui will appear in 

Bold Italics

, while the User’s response will appear in 

italics.

  Below is
