: Fuse or circuit breaker protection external to the system is to be provided by the customer unless
factory wired into a power board.
Note 2
: Wire sizes are based on the voltage drop considerations and the National Electric Code
Table 310-16 for copper wire.
1.5 GENERAL
The NetMACS II is installed with -20 to -60 VDC input power. In addition, several connections will be
made for monitoring points, alarms, and interfaces.
1.6 INPUT POWER REQUIREMENTS
(See The T-drawings contained as an attachment to this manual, the plant manuals, and the associated
configuration sheets for diagrams of connections.)
The input voltage required is -20 to -60 VDC. This source must be fused with a one and a third amp (1

A) fuse and is provided internally (see figure 1-3).

1.6.1 INPUT ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The system electrical input connection is on the left side of the system (looking at the front). The
system operates on a -20 to -60VDC power input. See Figure 1-4 and Table 1-1.
