transporting
your
chain
saw,
always
unplug
it
from
the
wall
outlet
and
the
guide
rail
and
thread
the
chain
guard.
If
you
use
a
saw
to
transport
a
vehicle,
place
it
so
that
it
could
endanger
persons
and
firmly
fix
the
vehicle.

Ensure
correct
chain
tension.
Loose
chain
can
jump
out
of
operation
and
lead
to
injury.
If
damaged,
the
chain
must
be
replaced
immediately.
Minimum
length
of
the
upper
surface

cutting
teeth

least

Check
after
each
use
a
chain
saw
teeth
sharpness.
Dull
chain
leads
to
a
higher
load
and
engine
overheating
‐
dull
chain,
replace
it
with
a
sharp
and
keep
it
sharpened.
As
for
sharpening
chain
saws
are
needed
specific
expertise,
it
is
recommended
to
leave
sharpening
workshop.
In
the
case
of
hand
‐
grinding
chain
wear
protective
gloves
and
use
file
pr.

the
chain

Chain
regrind
from
the
inside
edge
outwards
with
respect
to
the
values
indicated
in
the
figures.
Just
one
to
two
strokes
with
a
file
for
each
cutting
tooth.
Every

check

possibly
grind
foot
depth
limiter
with
a
flat
file
and
a
special
template
that
is
available
as
optional
equipment.

groove

lubrication

be
kept
clean
with
a
scraper

regularly
lubricated

screw

Turn
the
bar,
make
sure
that
the
seal

in
its

gear

fit

gear
back
to
the
bar
with
screw.
To
ensure
sufficient
screw
locking
is
recommended
to
use
a
drop
of
glue
on
the
thread
‐
locking
compound
(eg.
Loctice
243
or
equivalent).

to

power

should
only
be
carried
out
by
specialist
electrical
personnel.
Waste
disposal
and
environmental
protection
If
your
device
should
become
useless
somewhere
in
the
future
or
you
do
not
need
it
any
longer,
do
not
dispose
of
the
device
together
with
your
domestic
refuse,
but
dispose
of
it
in
an
environmentally
friendly
manner.
Please
dispose
of
the
device
itself
at
an
according
collecting/
recycling
point.
By
doing
so,
plastic
and
metal
parts
can
be
separated
and
recycled.

disposal
of
materials
and
devices

local

If
you
saw
for
a
long
time:
Disconnect
the
tool
from
the
socket.
Completely
empty
the
oil
tank,
then
run
briefly
saw
and
empty
and
the
oil
line.
