Allmost all techniques allow a pattern drawing for the front and for the back bed .
Equally allmost all techniques can be knitted without pattern draw i ng .
All exceptions to this rule are mentioned in the following descriptions.
In the following descriptions it often says "knits 2 rows per square" or "knits 4 rows
per square of the pattern drawing". In this context the word "square" refers to a
horizontal row of squares in the pattern drawing as illustrated in the pattern book or
to a horizontal row of pixels on the PC scree n .
