When knitting a pattern, this lever has to be on
X. If the lever is on N it will always knit stocking
stitch.
The display tells you the setting of the pattern
selector dial for the chosen stitch pattern.
Note: to turn the pattern selector dial first set the
N-X lever to N.
During knitting, however, it must always be on X
for anything except stocking stitch.
The setting of the stitch size regulator depends
on the type of yarn and pattern used. The
following table gives approximate settings
relating only to ordinary smooth yarns but not
special yarns.

The strippers are accessories, that come with the
machine. Insert them into the cam box until they
click into place. To remove them depress the
small key.
The strippers are needed to knit the pre-knitting
rows with waste yarn, needed to put the fabric
take down into action. See page
