SECTION NINE Checking the Operation of the fire Continued
If spillage occurs wait a further five minutes and repeat the test.
Repeat the test with doors open and with any extractor fans in other rooms in operation.
If spillage is detected the cause must be discovered and the fault corrected, if the fault cannot be
corrected, disconnect the fire from the gas supply and seek expert advice. Spillage can be caused
by a restriction in the flue system, down draught or insufficient ventilation into the room where the
fire is installed.
FIT STANDARD FASCIA
Offer the decorative fascia up squarely and centrally. The back face of the fascia will have cut out
to give clearance for glass retaining brackets. Use these slots as a guide, slide the fascia over the
firebox.
The rear of the fascia as four location studs. Lift the fascia and locate the studs within the slotted
holes two LH and RH within the assembly of the firebox .
