Removing Oracle
8.1.6
To remove Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris, follow these steps:
Step 1
Log on to the computer with administrator privileges, and open a
terminal window.
Step 2
Change the directory to where the Oracle files are stored. For
example,
cd /opt/jetstream/ora_uninst1.sh
Step 3
Type
./js_ora_uninst0.sh
at the command prompt to delete
all Oracle application files.
Step 4
Type
./js_ora_uninst1.sh
at the command prompt to clean
up Oracle 8.1.6.
