Before
Installation
Before installation, do the following:
1.
Stop all Java applications.
2.
Run
jetutil
to verify if the target machine meets the
minimum installation (i.e., hardware and software)
requirement.
Performing a Pre-
installation Check
To perform a pre-installation check:
Step 1
Insert the JetVision Server Windows installation CD-ROM into the
CD-ROM drive to display the content.
Step 2
Double-click
startjetutil.bat
(tools/jetutil/bin). A console
window appears, displaying the menu selection (
Figure 2–1
).
