Customizing
Gatekeeper in
JetVision Server
To customize the
gatekeeper.properties
file, follow these
steps:
Step 1
Locate the
gatekeeper.properties
file. For example,
/opt/Jetstream/emsserver_v25/bin/persist
Step 2
Add the following lines to the beginning of the file (
Figure 3–36
):
exterior_address
This is the source address that’s behind NAT; it’s the
JetVision Server IP address. In
Figure 3–36
, the address
10.0.84.5
is used.
exterior_proxy_address
This is the address used outside NAT, which is an unused
gateway address. In
Figure 3–36
,
172.16.1.2
is used.
Step 3
Modify the following lines.
exterior_port
This identifies the port number on which JetVision Server
communicates to the outside. In
Figure 3–36
,
15000
(default) is used.
exterior_callback
This identifies the port number on which JetVision Server
receives information from the outside. In
Figure 3–36
,
15001
(default) is used.
ior_file_name
This identifies the path to the JetVision installation
directory. In
Figure 3–36
,
/opt/jetstream/
emsserver_2.5/iors/gatekeeper.ior
is used.
