3. Solaris Environment

Installing 
JetVision Client

JetVision Client uses JRE 1.3.1 for installation. Make sure to stop all 
Java applications before installing JetVision 2.5.

To install JetVision Client for Solaris, follow these steps:

Step 1

Log on with administrator privileges to the computer where you 
want to install JetVision Client, and open a console window.

Step 2

Insert the JetVision Client installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM 
drive. Use the appropriate UNIX shell command to start the 
installation. For example:

cd/cdrom/cdrom0

./setup.sh

When the installation program starts, the Welcome screen appears 
(

).

Note

Do not open any directories and files from File Manager. 
Doing so may cause unpredictable behavior. If File 
Manager is open, close it before running the installation 
program.
