The figure below shows the Door Control Output interface. Like the Door Control Output of the Con-
troller, it can access the same electrical locking devices with the same relay contacts (see the
Table 3–1 on page 27).
I/O Board Outputs
The I/O Board Outputs are identical in nature to Outputs 1 & 2 on the ACS-1E or ACS-1EUL Controller
and can be used to signal additional alarm controller inputs, operate automatic door openers, or
activate security cameras.
The following diagram shows the I/O Output section of the I/O Board. Each 3-circuit output termina-
tion is clearly labeled as to its relay contact designation (COM, NO, NC) and all associated relays can
be assigned to a particular ACS-1E or ACS-1EUL input signal, Card Reader alert, Box Tamper, or Sus-
pect Card alert.
