How to change the battery
Failure of the position indicator
Improper installation leads to loss of protection class.
•
Tighten screws
evenly until the battery unit
is completely at the stop with the housing
.
•
Check the correct position of the O-ring
.
Preparation
:
1.
Connect the position indicator to supply voltage.
2.
Prepare replacement battery unit.
3.
Prepare Phillips screwdriver (e.g. PH 0x60).
Disassembly (see Figure 7):
1.
The battery compartment is located on the left side of the unit (connections at the bottom).
2.
Unscrew the three fixing screws
.
3.
Remove the battery unit
(disposal of the old battery).
Mounting (see Figure 6):
1.
Install a new battery unit
. Ensure easy joining.
2.
Check the correct position of the O-ring
. The O-ring must be in
contact with the battery housing during installation of the battery unit
.
