GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Observe the foll owi ng warnings in order t o avoi d damage to the
LS7 or its acces sori es.
●
Use onl y Panduit LS7 t apes with this machine (green colored cassettes).
●
Use only t he LS7-ACS, AC adapt er designed exclusi vely for this machine. Use of any
other adapt er will voi d the warranty.
●
Do not use the m achine i n dusty places, and keep it out of both direct sunl ight and rain.
●
Do not expose t he machine t o high temperatures or high hum idity. Never l eave i t on the
das hboard or i n the back of your car.
●
Do not touch the pri nt head mechani sm. If the head i s touched, cl ean i t immediatel y wi th
a cotton s wab to avoid permanent damage.
●
Do not pull on t he tape being fed from the LS7. This may damage the tape cassette.
CAUTI ON: Observe the following cauti ons in order t o prevent malfuncti on of
the LS7.
●
When the AC adapter (LS7-ACS) i s connect ed, unplugging t he adapt er from t he electri-
cal out let before unpl ugging it from t he machine can del ete all text files i n the mem ory,
even if bat teries are installed.
●
Use si x AA (AM3, LR6) alkaline batteries in thi s machine.
