OPTIONAL AC ADAPTER
The AC adapt er (LS7-ACS) al lows you to use this machi ne wherever there i s an elect rical
outlet.
To connect the optional AC adapter:
1 Insert the plug on t he adapter cord into t he connector marked DC IN 9.5V on the bot-
tom end of the machine.
2 Insert t he plug on t he adapter into the nearest standard elect ri cal outlet.

Only use the AC adapter (par t no. LS7-ACS) desi gned exclusively for this machi ne.
When the AC adapter is connected, unpluggi ng the adapter f rom t he electri cal outlet
bef ore unpluggi ng it f rom t he machine can delete all t ext fil es in the memory, even i f
batteries are inst alled.
It i s recommended t hat you use the AC adapt er when pr inting large font s and bar-
codes on 3/4” (18-mm)-wide tape si nce t hese operations can quickl y drain the bat-
teries .
