TAPE CUTTER
With use, the tape cutter may become covered with adhesive, making it difficult to cut the
tape. If t he tape cannot be cut correctl y, clean the tape cutter blades as explained below.

To avoid inj uries, be ext remely careful not touch t he cutter blades with bare hands.
To clean the tape cutter blades:
1 Turn off the m achine.
2 Remove the back cover, and then remove the tape cassette if one is installed. The t ape
cutter i s located near the t ape exit slot.
3 Using a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl (rubbi ng) alcohol, wipe the tape cutter bl ades
with an up-and-down motion.
Be careful not to touch the cutter blades with bare hands.
