ACCENT FUNCTION
The accent functi on can be used to add accented characters to your t ext. The accented
characters are grouped according to the capital or lowercas e letter that they are combined
with. The foll owing accented charact ers are available:
To type in an accented character:
1 Hold down and pres s . The message “ACCENT a–u/A–U?” appears on
the display.
2 Press the key of the letter in t he desired accented character.

If you wish t o type i n a capi tal l ett er, press to ent er Caps mode (t he Caps
indicator li ghts up) before pressing t he letter key.
3 Press or unt il the desi red accented character flashes.
4 Press . The accented character is added to the text .

To type in a ser ies of accented characters, hold down bef ore pressing
. Then, continue adding accented characters by sel ecting t hem as explained
in steps 2 and 3, and holding down while pressi ng . Press just
after select ing t he last character in the series.
