8 Maintenance and inspection
Touching any current-carrying parts may cause a fatal electric shock orburn
injury.
To prevent a fatal accident, such as an electric shock, burn injury, etc., make
sure to observe the followings.
Make sure to turn off the power switch and the switch of the distribution box before making
a daily check. (However, any external check made without touching current-carrying parts
or their surrounding area is excluded.)
8.1 Daily check
● Perform the daily check without fail. It is important to make the most of the performance of this productand
to secure the safety of daily operations.
● Check the items indicated in the following table, and conduct the cleaning and replacement of parts when
necessary.

● For replacement of parts, make sure to use our genuine parts for Panasonic welding machine to keepits
performance and functions

Front panel
• Check operation panel and indicators for damage, looseness and
malfunction.
• Check snap-on joints, connectors and gas outlet joint for damage and
looseness.
Inspection of the interior
of the unit, re-tightening

Rear panel
• Check if input power terminal cover is attached. needed.
• Check gas inlet joint for damage and looseness.• Check if the cooling
fan makes smooth rotation noise, and if cool air flows
Peripherals
• Check handle for damage and looseness.
• Check casters for damage and looseness.• Check cases, such as top
panel, for looseness.
Re-tightening or parts
replacement areneeded.
Overall
• Check appearance for any trace of heat generation, such as
decoloration.
• After turning on the power switch or during welding operation, check if
noabnormal vibration, noise or odor is observed.
Inspection of the interior
of the unit is needed.
Note:
The parts behind the terminal cover at the bottom are periodical check items.
