3.7 Shielding Gas
For TIG welding use shielding gas, use welding argon gas. If any impurity such as oxygen, moisture or nitrogen is
mixed into argon gas, shielding effect decreases resulting in reduced quality of weld.
3.8 Filler wire
Material and thickness are determined by type of base metal and value of welding current respectively. Generally,
material of filler wire to be used is the same quality as that of base metal;however, it is important to select it
according to the purpose in a specific case such as welding dissimilar metals.

3.9 Cooling water
When using a water cooled torch, supply cooling water of specified quantity (1 liter per minute minimum when
using torch of our production
,
and set the welder menu P01 to 1) to torch by means of water supply or cooling
system.
Care should be taken in this case because the welder does not operate unless the flow of cooling water is equal to
the constant value of 0.7 liter per minute or more. In that case, the warningdisplays,Err 11.
