How to Replace the Squeegee (Urethane Section)
This part describes how to replace the squeegee (the urethane section). The replacement timing
varies according to usage conditions; therefore, it should be replaced before bad printing due to a
worn squeegee occurs.
∗
Lifespan (Replacement timing) of urethane
rubber
A urethane rubber (with four edges) has a life
of about 20,000 to 25,000 times.
1
. Check for wear and flaws in the edge
of a urethane rubber by the touch.
∗
If there are any wear or flaws, change the edge
to use.
∗
When all four edges have been used up,
replace the urethane rubber.
2
. Loosen the hexagon socket head cap
screws (M4

3
. Attach the new squeegee (urethane
section) and temporarily tighten the
screws.
4
. Put the squeegee on a surface plate,
and tighten the screws while leaving
no clearance between the squeegee
and the plate.
∗
When you tighten the screws, just put the
squeegee on the surface plate, not pressing it
against the plate.
