1. Command Hierarchy
There are four hierarchical levels in the command hierarchy.
(1) User mode:
The User mode is the mode right after login. Only limited operations are avail
-
able.
(2) Privileged mode:
The Privileged mode allows to check the status of this switch and manipulate
the configuration file.
(3) Global configuration mode:
The Global configuration mode allows general configuration of this switch.
(4) Interface configuration mode
The Interface configuration mode allows detailed configuration of this switch,
such as for each port or VLAN.
