The KX-TD612 supports CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) TAPI
Interface. CTI technology will integrate the system with your PC to help you
enhance your work efficiency.
For example, it is possible to make use of the customer database stored in your
PC when making and receiving calls.
•
You can make a call from the customer database using your mouse, by
double clicking on the desired name.
•
When you receive a call from a customer, the system sends the Caller ID
information to the PC through CTI. Then the PC automatically searches its
customer database, and displays the registered information of the
customer with a Screen Pop before the call is answered.

It is possible to connect a PC to the serial (RS-232C/V.24) port of the KX-
TD612 and make an Internet access. With this configuration, users can make
the Internet connection without modem or terminal adaptor (at the maximum
data transmission rate of 64 kbps).
