Busy Station Signalling (BSS)
Allows users to send a call waiting tone
to the called party when it happens to
be busy by dialling a special code. The
called party hears the call waiting tone
through the built-in speaker of the
Digital System Telephone or earpiece of
the Single Line Telephone. The called
party can talk to the calling party by
disconnecting the current call or putting
the current call on hold.
Call Forwarding
Allows users to automatically send their
calls to another extension, to an outside
line, or to voice mail. The following
types are available:
1.
All Calls
2.
If Busy
3.
If No Answer
4.
If Busy or No Answer
5.
To Outside Line (All Calls)
6.
To Outside Line (No Answer)
7.
Remote Call Forward (Follow Me)
8.
ISDN Call Forward
9.
Group Call Forward
Call Log
Shows the last 128 Incoming Call Logs
and 5 Outgoing Call Logs on the Digital
System Telephone display. Users can
call back or redial from the Call Log
with one-touch operation. They can
also set the telephone to not display the
call log information (Call Log Lock). Call
Log is available with KX-
T7235/T7436/T7536
(Incoming/Outgoing) and KX-
T7230/T7433/T7533 (Incoming only).
Call Park
Allows users to put the call on hold in a
special area (Call Park area) while
paging the desired party to transfer the
call. The paged party can retrieve the
call from the Call Park area at any
telephone. Up to 10 Call Park areas are
available.
Call Pickup
Allows users to pick up the call ringing
at another extension. The following 3
types are available:
1.
Directed Call Pickup
í
Pick up a call
at a specific extension.
2.
Group Call Pickup
í
Pick up a call at
any extension within the same
extension group.
3.
Outside Call Pickup
í
Pick up the
incoming outside call.
Call Transfer
Allows users to transfer a call to
another extension or an outside line.
The following 2 types are available:
1.
Screened Transfer
í
Request a
confirmation to accept the call from
the destination extension before
transferring the call.
2.
Unscreened Transfer
í
Transfer the
call without requesting a
confirmation from the distinction
extension (Blind Transfer).
Call Waiting
Used to inform a busy extension of a
call waiting through the built-in speaker
of the Digital System Telephone or
earpiece of the Single Line Telephone.
The user of the busy extension can
answer the second call by
disconnecting the current call or putting
it on hold. In the case of an internal call,
there are 3 ways of notification:
1.
Busy Station Signalling (BSS)
2.
Off-Hook Call Announcement
(OHCA)
3.
Whisper Off-Hook Call
Announcement (W-OHCA)

Conference
1.
Up to 6 Three-Party Conference can
be held simultaneously.
2.
Conferences can be held among 3
extensions, 2 extensions and 1
outside line, or 1 extension and 2
outside lines.
Direct Station Selection (DSS) Key
Provides users with one-touch making
or transferring of call to another
extension. Busy Lamp Field (BLF) on
the DSS key shows the status of the
corresponding extension (Lamp off

Idle; Red On
í
Busy; Red Flashing
í
Ringing).
Do Not Disturb (DND)
Allows users to appear busy to
incoming calls. DND can be set or
cancelled at their own extensions by
pressing FWD/DND key or remotely by
the operator. Extension users with
proper authorisation, such as secretary,
can override Do Not Disturb setting at
another extension (Do Not Disturb
Override).
