Troubleshooting
Function
When start key is pressed, all
displays light up.
1. One sheet is copied when the
Start key is pressed.
2. Duplex mode (1 sided original
to 2 sided copy or 2 sided
original to 2 sided copy)
a) One sheet is copied when
the Start key is pressed in
the duplex mode. The first
side is copied and fed into
the duplex unit tray.

pressed again, the second
side is copied and fed to the
copier exit tray.
3. Book mode (Book original to 2
sided copy)
a) One sheet is copied when
the Start key is pressed in
the duplex mode. The first
side is copied and fed into
the duplex unit tray. Then
second side is copied and
fed to the copier exit tray.
Section V Troubleshooting
5.1 Service Mode
In Service mode, the technician can check for abnormalities in the copier so the
copier can always operate normally. The input/output of major components in
every section can be checked.
