Wipe the installation surface clean before
peeling off the backing paper and attaching
the bracket.
Windshield
Install the GPS antenna in the vehicle where the
system can receive GPS satellite signals from all
directions.
• Do not pull on the cord to remove the anten-
na. Otherwise you might disconnect the cord
or scratch the vehicle surface.
• Wipe the installation surface clean before
attaching the antenna.
• Install the antenna at least 20 cm (recommended clearance) away from the monitor and other electronic
components as these may reduce the reception sensitivity.
• Do not bend, cut or otherwise modify the metal bracket (L-shaped).
• The metal bracket is supplied exclusively for installation inside the vehicle.
• Use only the supplied metal bracket

Installation inside the Vehicle (Dashboard or Rear Tray)
(Recommended)
Install the antenna in horizontal position on
the dashboard or in the center of the rear
tray near the rear window.
Lead the antenna cord inside the vehicle.
Notes:
• The body shape of some vehicles may interfere with proper signal reception.
• Some types of window glass may block signal reception.
• If the reception sensitivity is not satisfactory with the antenna installed inside the vehicle, please
consult your nearest authorized Panasonic Service Centre.
