Wait for the
Beam Status
dialog box to indicate that the transfer is complete
before you continue using your Treo device.
Beaming an Application
Not all applications can be beamed. A lock icon
appears on the
Beam
screen
next to applications that cannot be beamed.
1.
Go to
Applications
.
2.
Open the
menus
.
3.
Select
Beam
on the
App
menu.
4.
Select the
Beam From
pick list and select whether the application you want
to beam is located on your Treo device or on an expansion card.
5.
Select the application you want to transfer, and then select
Beam
.
6.
When the
Beam Status
dialog box appears, point the IR port on your Treo
device directly at the IR port of the receiving device.
7.
Wait for the
Beam Status
dialog box to indicate that the transfer is complete
before you continue using your Treo device.
Tip:
You can beam your business card. From the
Main
view in the
Phone
application, open the
menus
, and then press
M
.
Note:
Please note that there may be restrictions that prevent you from
transferring copies of an application to a third party. It is your
responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the legal right to
provide a copy to the third party and to honor any restrictions imposed
by the software licensors.
