Replacing Flash Backup Module
Up to two flash backup modules can be installed. If there are two host boards installed, to
gain access to the FBMs will require the user to remove the second host board. Once the
second host board has been removed, please read the following instructions to replace the
flash backup module:
1.
Remove the controller module (refer to Replacing the Controller Module).
2.
Locate the flash backup module.
3.
Loosen the screw at the end of flash backup module and remove the flash backup module.
4.
Insert the replacement flash backup module on a 45
o
angle, gently lower the other end of the
SSD and secure it with the original screw.
5.
Reinstall the controller.
Replacing the Power Supply Module / Cooling
Module
The power supply units (PSU) are configured in a redundant configuration with each PSU
housed in a robust steel canister.
