10. TROUBLESHOOTING
10.1 Inspection Items
NOTE: If trouble is found to be internal, check on the problem according to the table below and seek our service.
Problem
What to check
Possible causes
Display is dead.
1. Inspect fuse.
2. Check supply voltage.
AC version 85 to 264VAC
1. Breaking of fuse (
⇒
refer to section 10.2)
2. Supply voltage is incorrect.
3. A fault in the counter internal.
The device does not
operate even if
pressing the START
button
1. Is the interlock lamp at display part
lighting?
2. If the operation switch is set to external
operation for the parameter setting, are
terminals No.19 and 20 (external operation
input STOP contact b input) short-circuited?
3. Has the batch process been reset?
4. Check the items shown in "8.5 (4) Batch
start unavailable conditions".
5. When you press the START button, does
RUN lamp at display part light up?
6. Do valve control signals SV and MV
actuate property?
7. Are valve control signal wiring and supply
voltage correct?
8. Are valve operating and control pressure
settings correct?
1. Short-circuit the terminals No.25 to 26
(interlock).
2. As STOP in the external operation input is
contact b, configure the circuit so that it is
turned OFF only when you want to stop
the operation temporarily.
3. Reset the batch processing.
4. Carry out the coping process shown in "8.5
(4) Batch start unavailable conditions".
5. If it does not light up, the internal of main
unit may be broken.
6. Valve control signal output relays are at
fault.
7. Valve control output lines are incorrectly
wired or an open in the cable.
8. Valve operating and control pressure
settings are incorrect.
Valve operates but the
total counter fails to
count.
1. Is a flowrate signal coming in from the
flowmeter?
2. Is the flow rate signal input within the
response frequency range?
1. Incorrect wiring or an breaking of the cable.
A fault in the flowmeter itself or in the pulse
generator.
2. Outside the acceptable frequency range of
response.
Contact pulse Max
50Hz
Others
Max
3kHz
Fails to perform batch
operation at the
setpoint.
1. Do valve control signals SV and MV
actuate when the target batch quantity is
reached?
2. If the quantity reaches the batch setting
quantity, do SV lamp OFF and END lamp
light up?
1. Valve control signal output relay is at fault.
2. A fault in the counter internal.
Remote control
is inoperative.
1. Can the batch quantity be set by operating
the front surface?
2. Is remote control circuitry wired correctly?
1. If the setting is enabled by operating the
front surface, the parameter is not set to
external input.
Set the operation switch to external
operation by setting parameter.
2. Remote control circuitry is wired
incorrectly, or the cable has an open.
Or a fault in the counter internal.
