9.2 Optical switches
The optical switches can be operated through the glass. The following keys are usable.
The optical keys are designed to enable stable operation and never respond to the taint on the surface of glass,
however, if a wrong reaction of optical switches is generated, the life duration of battery may shorten. (

)
Keep
the surface of glass clean all the time so as not to cause wrong reaction of optical switches. Do not put an object
within 10cm from front surface of product (glossy object causes wrong reaction of optical switches).

Function of key
This key is used for shifting to the parameter confirmation mode.
In the parameter confirmation mode, this key is used for moving the transition table to left side
or setting or saving the changed value. * For the transition table of parameter confirmation
mode, refer to section 10.2.
This key is used for selecting cumulative total display / instantaneous flow rate display. In the
parameter confirmation mode, the arrow (
▲
) is operated and used for moving the transition
table downward or increasing the value.
This key is used for clearing the value of resettable total. To clear the total value, push the key
twice.
In the parameter confirmation mode, the arrow (
▶
) is operated and used for moving the
transition table to right side or shifting the digit of value.
