11.5 How to discard the battery
The method for discarding waste varies depending on municipal government. Follow each instruction.

Yes
Replace the battery as specified.
Push PROG button for seven
seconds or longer.
SETUP indicator will light up.
The setting mode 1 will be displayed.
The backlight will go out soon,
however, this is a normal operation to
save the battery.

The setting mode 2.1 will be
displayed.
Keep pushing PROG button for three
seconds or longer.
The measurement mode will be
displayed.
If EL0137 is set to measurement
mode, the test is finished.
After the work is finished, pay attention to the following.

To check whether EL0137 is usable, test the optical switches.

Remove all tools, materials, and instruments from the working space.
－
Check the working space is clean.
11.7 Precautions on turning ON the power supply
Turn ON the power supply before moving to explosionproof environment. After the power supply is turned ON,
close the front lid firmly and install the instrument in the use environment, and then start using it.
To stabilize the measurement status of instrument, warm it up for approx. 20 minutes.
