10.2.2 Key Operation
Key operations of OVAL VORTEX FLOWMETER are performed by holding the accompanying
switching magnet (Fig.7.1) close to magnetic switch areas [SEL key] and [ENT key]. Magnet sensors
detect the switching magnet and turn the key input ON.
The magnet sensors can detect the switching magnet through the glass.
■
Display during operation
There are two types of key operations: Normal (short key input) and Hold (long key input)
①
Normal operation
When SEL or ENT key is held ON, key indicator appears on the display. Turn the key input OFF
quickly to execute normal operation.
If the key input is kept ON, bars [-------] appear on the lower display and begin to disappear from the
left. If hold operation is unavailable, bars do not disappear.
If the key is turned OFF before the last bar disappears, normal operation is executed.
②
Hold operation
When SEL or ENT key is held ON, bars [-------] appear on the lower display and begin to disappear
from the left. If a key is held ON until the last bar disappears, hold operation is executed.
(If the key is turned OFF before the last bar disappears, normal operation is executed instead.)
