Ensure that burner and igniter is free of
obstructions and debris.

If using a 20 lb. LP tank, ensure the
control switch is in the “OFF” position
(

) and slowly open the valve on
the tank (

). If using a fixed pipe
system ensure the dedicated supply valve
is open.
3.
Turn the control switch to the “ON”
position (

).

The system will begin sparking and
ignition should occur within 5 seconds
(
Image 6.6
). If ignition takes longer than
12 seconds, the system will shut down.
If
system does not achieve ignition, turn
switch to “OFF” and wait 5 minutes
before reattempting ignition.
5.
To extinguish, turn control switch to the
“OFF” position. If using a 20 lb. LP tank,
close the valve on the tank when not in
use.
