User Instructions

Safety modes 

–

Severe error

•

Loss of a sensor or the AXON tube adapter

•

These errors are displayed with 

30 long beep signals and 

alternating short and long vibration signals

•

Stance flexion resistance corresponds to the ‘Activity Mode’:

•

Mode A / B / B+:

•

Knee joint with very high flexion resistance

→

Allows safe standing and to flex the knee joint during 
sitting down

•

Mode C:

•

Adjusted stance flexion resistance

•

Stance release is not possible

•

Try to fix the error by connect and disconnect the charger (run 
the self-test)

See your CPO 

immediately!

If the error is present after several self-tests, the usage of the knee joint is 

not permitted anymore and it must be sent back to Ottobock!
