8.2.6 Operating the wheel lock
WARNING
Insufficient braking
Accident, falling of the user due to loss of braking function
► Verify the functionality of the wheel lock prior to every use.
1)
Brake engagement:
Press the trip levers on the right and left down with your foot (see fig. 16).
2)
Brake release:
Push the trip levers on the right and left up with your foot.

8.2.7 Installing and removing wheels
WARNING
Improper assembly of removable wheels
Tipping, falling over of the user due to wheels coming off
► After each assembly, verify the proper fit of the removable wheels. The quick-release axles must be firmly
locked in the wheel attachment.
Installation
1) Slide the wheel onto the axle. In doing so, ensure that the locking spring engages audibly (see fig. 17).
2) If you do not hear the locking spring engage, manually pull it back into the locking position.
Removal
1) Disengage the locking spring on the wheel in the direction of the axle (see fig. 18).
2) Pull the wheel off the axle.
