8.4.2 Canopy
CAUTION
Incorrect use of the canopy
Falling, tipping of the user due to uncontrolled rolling away

An unfolded canopy is a large surface that can be caught by the wind. Close the canopy every time you park
the rehab buggy. Never leave the user unattended.

Damage to the fabric due to user error

Always remove the canopy before folding the rehab buggy so that it does not get folded up as well.
►
Remove the canopy from the rehab buggy if it is stored for a long period to protect it from damage.
The rehab buggy can be equipped with a canopy to protect the user from the sun. A mesh integrated into the can
opy permits directly visual contact with the child.
Mounting the canopy
1) Move the back support to an upright position (see Page 46).
2) Pull the folding lever under the seat (see fig. 36) to release the tension from the frame.
3) On both sides of the canopy, insert first the upper and then the lower locking lugs of the canopy into the guide
slots of the mounting points (see fig. 37).
4) Press down the locking lugs until they lock in place (see fig. 38).
5) Press the folding lever under the seat down to the stop (see fig. 39).
Removing the canopy
1) Move the back support to an upright position (see Page 46).
2) Pull the folding lever under the seat (see fig. 36).
3) Pull the locking lugs of the canopy out of the guide slots of the mounting points with slight pressure.
4) Remove the canopy.
