6.5 Installing the anti-tipper
WARNING
Using alternative seating solutions
Serious injuries to the user due to missing anti-tipper

If the product is fitted with an alternative seating solution or seating shells from other manufacturers, special
attention must be paid to static stability.
►
The qualified personnel is obligated to ensure the static stability of such a combination.
►
Using an anti-tipper may be required depending on the centre of gravity.
►
Verify that the anti-tipper has been installed and adjusted properly.
The anti-tipper can be subsequently ordered and installed when needed.
For 12.5" rear wheels, the anti-tipper is installed using the 471A42=LV064/RV064 accessory mount.
For 22"/24" drive wheels, the anti-tipper is mounted directly on the rear frame tube (see fig. 26).
Installing the accessory mount with 12.5" rear wheels
1) Loosen and remove the screw connections on the accessory mount (see fig. 3, item 1).
2) Install the accessory mount on the lower/upper bores in the rear frame tube (see fig. 3, item 2).
3) Insert and firmly tighten the screw connections (see fig. 3, item 1).

Installing the anti-tipper
1) Insert the expansion spring with the closed eyelet facing up into the rear frame tube (see fig. 4, item 1).
2) Insert the spacer washer and the screw connection through the lowest bore (Ø 8 mm) and through the closed
eyelet of the spring inside the frame tube (see fig. 4, item 2). Do not over-tighten the nut.
3) Attach a cord to the open eyelet of the expansion spring (see fig. 4, item 3).
4) Insert the anti-tipper (see fig. 4, item 4) into the rear frame tube.
5) Pull on the cord until part of the expansion spring sticks out of the anti-tipper (see fig. 5, item 1).
6) Use a screwdriver to secure the expansion spring in this position (see fig. 5, item 2).
7) Remove the cord and insert the plug into the open eyelet of the expansion spring (see fig. 5, item 3).
8) Pull the screwdriver away so the plug engages.
