Adjusting the lower leg length using the slotted perforated plates
1) Loosen the clamping screws on both slotted perforated plates (see fig. 11, item 5; see fig. 12, item 1).
2) Swing the foot plate to the desired height and the desired angle (see fig. 11; see fig. 12, item 2).
3) Tighten the clamping screws to
9 Nm
(see fig. 11, item 5; see fig. 12, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.

c) Adjusting the lower leg length of the following leg support:
•
With single-panel foot plate for seating shell interface (steel)
1) Loosen the clamping screws on both guide tubes of the foot plate (see fig. 13, item 1).
2) Adjust the lower leg length (continuously adjustable). The guide tubes for the foot plate must remain slid onto
both mounting bars of the leg support by at least
40 mm
. Otherwise, the guide tubes can slide off the mount
ing bars.
3) Tighten the clamping screws to
1.5 Nm
(see fig. 13, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.

7.5.3 Adjusting the support angle
The footplate angle setting should be chosen so that the ankle is in a relaxed, comfortable position.
a) Adjusting the support angle of the following leg supports:
•
Segmented (aluminium)
•
Segmented, elevating with ratchet joint (aluminium)
1) Loosen the clamping screw on the joint of the foot plate (see fig. 14, item 1).
2) Set the desired foot plate angle (see fig. 14, item 2).
3) Tighten the clamping screw on the joint of the foot plate to
10 Nm
(see fig. 14, item 1).
b) Adjusting the support angle of the following leg support:
•
Single-panel (aluminium)
1) Loosen the clamping screw on the left and right joint of the foot plate (see fig. 14, item 1).
